Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a great leader in his church but when we was little he could not play with his friends because they were white and he was black and he couldn't go to the same church as white people. He couldn't go to the same school as the white people and he had to sit on the other side of the bus. -Cookies and Cream 

We made our pictures of Martin Luther King by making a portrait of him. Next we had to color in the picture. -Popsicle

Hello, this is how to make a MLK. First, you make his head. Then, you make his body. Last, make his background. - Jelly Bean 

We drew portraits of MLK. Then, we wrote about him and that was it. - Coffee

First, we would start by gathering by walking in the church. Then, we would do the liturgy of the word. People read out of the bible in that one. - Chocolate Chip 

First, you come in the church and it is called the Gathering. Then, it is the Liturgy of the Word. After that , it is The Liturgy of the Eucharist. Last, you go out of the church that is called the Sending Forth. -Skittles

We made the mass books with the steps. The steps were to color an d then you are finished. - Candy

How we made our geometry snowflakes: First, we got a blue piece of paper. Next, we got lots and lots of shapes and cut them out. Then, we glued all of the shapes on the blue paper and then we wrote how many shapes there were on the paper. -Cotton candy

We made the snowflakes by cutting out shapes. Also we used different shapes to make the snowflake. - Apple

We made snowflakes in math. We made them out of shapes. I used 6 triangles, 6 trapezoids, 6 rhombus and one hexagon. -Waffles and Whipped Cream

We made a snowflake with paper. We had to cut the paper and make shapes. Next, we had to glue down the shapes and write down how many we used. -Nutella

January is....January isn't....
I had to make up a sentence and then I wrote it on the line. I then drew the picture that I wanted to wanted to draw. -Banana

January is and January isn't is like writing down the correct answers on a math problem. It is a little about wriitng what happened to you in the winter. -Hot Dog

We wrote about January is and January isn't. I said January isn't swimming on a very cold day when it is snowing. But January is going to Cancun in Mexico when it is sunny there and also to be kind there. I tried to put in a lot of details. -lasagne

First, our teacher told us what to do. Next, we started working. I wrote: January isn't like jumping into pools and stuff like that. I mean what if a child did that? That would be crazy! Last, I said but January is like skiing with your family and just...having  fun! - cheeseburger

In January it is not good to swim but it is good to go skiing. - Cocoa

First, you think about what you need to put. Then, you draw it with pencil. You trace it with flair pen. Last, you color it with crayons and colored pencils. - Snowcone

Hot Cocoa Writing

Hot Cocoa Writing

We made a hot chocolate writing and a picture. First, we cut the paper and made it into a mug.Second, we put brown paper on as chocolate. Finally we put the marshmallows in the paper mug- Tacos

I made some delicious cocoa. First we cut out the cocoa mix, and then we cut out the mug. Then we wrote the sentence and glued everything together. Then we glued on the marshmallows and added the glitter and designed the cup - hamburger 

Hot Cocoa is yummy. I made a fake hot cocoa. I cut out a paper mug and glued it to a piece of paper. Next, Mrs. Martino put on the marshmallows. - Ginger 

This is how to make our hot cocoa writing. First you glue on the cup. Second, you glue on the hot cocoa. Third, you make a design on your cup. Fourth, you glue down real marshmallows. Fifth, you make the steam with glue and glitter. -Jolly Rancher



 

How to Build A Snowman

How to Build A Snowman

 We are building a snowman. First, we had to roll 3 small, medium and bog balls. Then, we had to decorate the snowman with coal eyes, a carrot nose and two stick arms and a black hat. -Pizza

In the winter it is fun to build a snowman. First, build the base of the snowman. Then, make the head of the snowman and put it on the base. Next, put on a nose and a mouth and  arms and maybe a hat. -Donut hole

We made snowmen. How we made them is we rolled big balls, then medium, then a small one for a head. Then, we put on the eyes, and a mouth then we added a carrot nose and we put on arms. But then the snowman got cold so we gave him a scarf. - Captain Krabby Patty 
I made a snowman. First, I rolled up three balls. One was big, the other is medium and the last small. I added a carrot nose and don't forgot a scarf and buttons and a mouth and you make a snowman.  -Ice cream Sundae

Cursive in Pudding

Cursive in Pudding
We are learning cursive and it is really hard to do when you just start. You have to connect the letters. -Gummi Bear


We started to learn how to write our letters in cursive by practicing in pudding. First we spread it out like paper, learned to write letters e,l,t,a,n,m,o and c. Then we connected them to make words like let and tell. At the end of each practice we were able to lick the pudding on our finger! We had so much fun! -2LC foodies
